Organizers of the highly anticipated All Regional Games launched their plans for the inaugural edition during a press conference held on Tuesday, April 9.

The event is scheduled to take place in November and promises to showcase a diverse range of sports disciplines.

Athletes from across the regions will participate in nine sports categories, including Football, Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Boxing, E-sports, and Arm-wrestling.

Notably, the Games will also be inclusive of Para-Athletes, highlighting a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

To build excitement and engagement leading up to the Games, a regional tour is set to kick off on April 16, aiming to raise awareness and encourage participation.

Each region will conduct trials in June to identify and select their top athletes, aged 18 to 23, who will represent them in the competition.

Former Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan, who serves as an Ambassador for the event, expressed his enthusiasm and urged for the Games to become a cornerstone of sports development in the country.

"Let's make All Regional Games a successful one," remarked Gyan. "Let's make it an institute, let's make it something that our next generation will benefit from.

We want to make sure that all the sports disciplines can also benefit. So, in the future when we go to the Olympic Games, it won't depend only on football."

With its inclusive approach and ambitious vision, the All Regional Games are poised to become a platform for nurturing talent, fostering unity, and elevating sports across the nation.
