The launch of the inaugural U-15 Girls Inter-Regional Challenge Cup is scheduled to take place at the Conference Room of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Chaired by GFA Executive Committee member Eugene Nobel Noel, who also heads the organizing committee for the tournament, a meeting was convened with committee members on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the GFA Secretariat. The purpose was to activate planning and fine-tuning for the upcoming tournament.

The tournament will feature ten regions divided into three zones, competing in a round-robin format to determine the final four teams advancing to the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will proceed to the finals.

The launch event on June 14, 2024, will unveil individual category awards and further details regarding the tournament, including balloting procedures.

The inaugural U-15 Challenge Cup aligns with the GFA's Women’s Football Strategy implementation plan (2023-26), focusing on talent identification under the key Development pillar.
