Crocked Ghana midfielder Thomas Teye  Partey has been named in the Arsenal team that will take part in  this season's UEFA Champions League.

Despite suffering a recent injury setback, Ghanaian defender Thomas Teye Partey has found his name included in Arsenal's roster for the upcoming UEFA Champions League campaign.

Partey sustained a groin injury during training and was unable to participate in Arsenal's triumphant 3-1 victory over Manchester United just before the international break.

Arsenal's official social media platforms provided confirmation of the injury, outlining the nature of the setback. Despite this, Partey has been listed among the midfielders in a 25-man squad unveiled on Monday.

The midfield roster features talented players such as Rice, Jorginho, Kai Havertz, Smith-Rowe, Elneny, Odegaard, and Viera.

Additionally, Eddie Nketiah, another player of Ghanaian descent, has secured a spot in the squad. Arsenal's aim is to mount a strong return to the prestigious championship.

Having finished second in the English Premier League standings last season, trailing only behind Manchester City, the London-based team is poised to face formidable opponents in this year's UEFA Champions League campaign.

Their group includes tough adversaries such as PSV Eindhoven, RC Lens, and Sevilla. Arsenal's fans eagerly anticipate their team's performance in this highly competitive tournament, injury notwithstanding.
