Inter Allies have been hit with more troubles of  premier League survival after a 1-0 away  loss to Legon Cities in their Matchday 28 clash on Monday.

A 57 minutes goal by Cephas Doku is all what the homesters needed to grab the three points to brighten their chances of stay in the league.


Veteran goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was a late replacement for Sylvester Sackey who was injured in the warmups.

For Felix Aboagye, he made no changes to the team that defeated Medeama 3-0 last weekend.


The first half of the game ended scoreless, both teams great some good chances to open the scoring.

Legon Citjes started the second half the better side and broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, Cephas Doku leapt the highest to head in a free kick from the halfway line.

 


 

Inter Allies came close to leveling the score in the 75th minute, experienced goalkeeper Fatau Dauda pulled off a great save to deny Paul Abagna from scoring.

The Royals came close to scoring the second in the final minutes of the game, but goalkeeper Rashid Seidu made a good save to keep the scoreline at 1-0.

The win now lifts Legon Cities to 9th position with 38 points as Inter Allies remain at the bottom with 26 and will play Kotoko on Monday.
