Ghanaian forward Isaac Atanga delivered a remarkable performance for Aalesunds FK as he netted his first goals for the club in a thrilling 3-1 victory over Molde in the top tier of Norwegian football.

The 22-year-old striker displayed his talent by scoring twice in the second half, playing a pivotal role in his team's back-to-back victories in the Norway Eliteserien. This triumph comes after a challenging six-match winless streak.

Atanga's goals hold significant importance as they mark his first for Aalesunds FK in seven appearances since his arrival from Goztepe in March.

Aalesunds FK took the lead just before halftime through a well-converted penalty by Moses Ebiye.

Molde had an opportunity to level the score before the break, but Sivert Heggheim missed a penalty, leaving them trailing.

In the 57th minute, Isaac Atanga capitalized on an assist from Alexander Andersen, extending Aalesunds FK's lead with their second goal of the match.

Merely three minutes later, Atanga completed his brace, once again benefitting from Moses Ebiye's assist.

Despite Molde pulling one goal back in the 90th minute through Niklas Odegard, it was insufficient to alter the final result. Aalesunds FK emerged victorious with an impressive 3-1 scoreline.
