Former Ghana youth star Ishmael Yartey was on target for his Finnish side FC Haka in their 2-1 home defeat against HJK Helsinki on Thursday afternoon at the Tehtaan Kentta Stadium.

The first half of the game ended goalless as none of the team was able to break the deadlock with neither able to breach the reargaurd.

In the second half there was goals from David Browne in the 53rd minute and Luis Henrique in the 61st minute.

Ishmael Yartey was introduced into the game as a substitute and in the 72nd minute reduced the deficit for his side as they lost 2-1 in the game.

His team Haka have been on a poor run as they lost the match and have recorded just two wins in the league the entire campaign.

The Ghanaian winger has been a journeyman playing for a lot of clubs and only joined his present club Haka from Saudi Arabian second tier side Hetten FC.

He has in the past played for clubs such as SF Benfica, CD Fatima, FC Souhaux, FC Sion, Servette FC, Gil Vicente and Portland Timbers in America.
