Issah Abass was on the scoresheet for his club side Fc Utrecht in the Dutch Cup win over lower tier side FC Eindhoven on Tuesday evening.

In a match played at the Jan Louwers Stadion the home side FC Eindhoven took the lead in the 37th minute through Sammy Bourard before the Ghanaian youngster Issah Abass pulled parity for the away side in the 61st minute of the game.

FC Utrecht have now booked their place in the quarter-finals stage of the Dutch Cup after a 2-1 triumph over the home side.

Frenchman Jean Francois Christophe Bahebeck got the winner in the 112th minute for FC Utrecht to book their place in the Dutch Cup quarter finals.

The Ghanaian youngster had a rare outing for the entire duration of the game after coming from the bench most times.

Abass has scored eight goals in his 117 appearances for FC Utrecht in all competitions.
