Former Hearts of Oak right back, Larry Sumaila says that its his dream to play for English Premier League giants Chelsea FC.

On Tuesday 26th July 2022, the club decided to release six players including Larry Sumaila.

Others who were let go include Frederick Ansah Bocthway, William Dankyi, Manaf Umar, Kofi Kordzi, and Patrick Razak.

He helped the phobians to win the MTN FA Cup this season and also Ghana Premier League and FA Cup double the previous season but has been deemed surplus to requirement.

The player now without a club says he will pick up the pieces and strive to reach the very top of his career by playing for Chelsea FC.

“It is the dream of every player to play abroad. Though I’m a fan of Real Madrid but it is my dream to play for Chelsea in England” he told Koforidua-based Bryt FM

The right-back is expected to find a new club before the start of the 2022/2023 season.
