Kotoko CEO George Amoako has confirmed that he has been stripped off his voting rights in Fridays elective Congress which will come off at the GFA secretariat.
The club has decided to make changes to the list of persons who were supposed to vote on its behalf in Friday's crunch elections.
Kotoko has unanimously backed the candidature of former GFA vice president Mr George Amoako but it appears the CEO is at odds with the financier of the club Dr. Kwame Kyei about the club's preferred candidate.
Apparently the club has got hold of some leaked audio tapes purported to be the voice of Mr George Amoako vilifying its candidate George Afriyie hence the swift decision to relieve him off voting duties on the day instead the club's executive chairman has chosen his trusted lieutenant Isaac Donkor Perusha as the other person along personal assistant Nana Gyimbibi Coker as person who will vote on behalf of the team.
George Amoako in an interview with Kumasi based Oyerepa Fm has confimed the decision to strip him off voting duties on election day.
"It's true I will not be voting on Friday, those who took the decision are the best to explain why" he lamented.
