President of Guinean side CI Kamsar opponents for Hearts of Oak, Rene Bangoura says that it is unfair that their preliminary stage CAF Champions League match will be played in a one off tie at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It comes following the political situation in Guinea in which the military have overthrown President Alpha Conde's governement

The Phobians were scheduled to play Kamsar on 12th Septemeber,2021 for the first leg of the game with the return league set for 19th September.

However the organising committee of the competition has decided that the match which was scheduled to be played in Guinea will no longer come off instead a one off game in Accra-Ghana.

Speaking to Wontumi TV in Kumasi, Rene Bangoura believes the current situation is unfair to his side but believes they can hurt Hearts at their own backyard.

“For us it wasn’t fair at all but I was talking to my team. I said they have to be focused on this game one way if we can shock the Phobians. We have to make this happen and focus on this game.”

“It doesn’t utter our plans for qualification. Not at all because our players are ready for that and we have told them to be ready on any away and they have to be serious and focused on the game."

"I spoke with them on their way coming and they promised me that they will do everything possible to win the game.” He concluded

The game will come off this Sunday at 1500GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
