Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko are jostling for the signing of  combative Medeama SC midfielder Richard Boadu aka Agadas in the current transfer window.

The player is a firm favourite of new Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu with the pair working together during their time at Medeama while Kotoko also wants him.

Hearts of Oak are intent on adding the tireless midfield dynamo to their ranks as they bid to launch an assault in Africa while Kotoko also bid to put their side in shape.

Both clubs are planning to launch a mammoth bid which will convince the mauve and yellows to let go off their prized asset.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Pure FM,the player admitted that he has been contacted by officials of both teams about joining them.

"I have been contacted by the officials of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko,''

"I will surely make the best decision on my next destination" He said.

He made  24 league appearances, scoring a goal which came against Kotoko at Obuasi in week 21 in the just ended campaign.

Richard Boadu is contracted to Medeama until 2024 after signing a contract extension last year.

The player came close to joining Kumasi Asante Kotoko before the start of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
