Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Ibrahim Saanie Daara says he has no regrets about working in Ghana football despite the ignominy it brought  him.

The investigative firm led by Anas Aremeyaw Anas accused the revered journalist of accepting bribe to help a player get national team favours.

The former BBC journalist was the Communications Director until an investigative documentary from Anas Aremeyaw Anas purported to incriminate him in a bribery scandal but after four years the revered journalist has been exonerated of any wrong doing.

According to Tiger Eye P.I, Sannie Daara received money to help then Hearts of Oak captain Thomas Abbey get a place in the CHAN team but from their own video recording the venerable Sannie Daara only told them to tell their player to work hard and he will be rewarded with a call up.

The Ethics Committee after four years, have exonerated the former Ghana FA Communications Director of any wrong doing.

Speaking in an interview with Hot FM, Sannie Daara revealed that has not regrets about leaving the BBC where he worked for eights years and won multiple awards before taking the GFA job where he worked for 16 years before the ill fated Anas expose.

"I've never regretted working in any capacity in Ghana football despite that incident. Working in Ghana helped me a lot just that people wanted to breakdown my good reputation and legacy."

Following the purported exposé, Ibrahim Sannie Daara lost his job at the Ghana Football Association whiles it costs him a lot of damage to his hard earned reputation.
