Sporting Director of lower tier Danish club Viborg FF , Jesper Fredberg is happy Ghanaian midfielder Jeff Mensah has decided to stay with them.

The Danish born Ghanaian extended his contract with the club that expired this year by a further two years.

According the Sporting Director he is a key asset for them and is happy a well liked person who is skilled like Mensah has decided to continue working with the club.

Viborg FF sporting director Jesper Fredberg said, "We are really happy for Jeff, who is a well-liked person of all in the club. He is a skilled player who works hard and can cover several positions, and at the same time he is also a great asset to the social in the squad. He is a real Viborg boy with an important role both on and off the field, and we look forward to continuing the collaboration, says sports manager."

Mensah, born in Denmark to Ghanaian parents, arrived at Viborg FF from the third-tier side, Thisted FC in 2018.
