Red hot Black Stars striker Joel Fameyeh scored once again as his rich vein of form continued in the Russian lower tier for his side Orenburg on Saturday afternoon.

The Ghanaian opened the scores for his side in the 12th minute as they defeated Veles Moscow 2-1 in the First National League game.

Orenburg dominated the game in the early exchanges and made their dominance count as soon after Fameyeh's goal, they added the second.

Renato Gojkovic gave his side the second goal as this time Joel Fameyeh turned provider as he chipped in an assist for the second goal in the 28th minute.

The away side upped the ante and they were rewarded on the stroke of half time with a goal which was scored by Danil Lopatin to make it 2-1.

Orenburg headed into the break with a slim 2-1 victory but held firm in the second half in what appeared a nervy finish as the away side pushed for the elusive equalizer.

Fameyeh lasted the entire duration of the game as he scored his fourth goal  in six matches in the Russian First National League this season while he has chipped in two assists.

The former Asokwa Deportivo striker has been rewarded with his fine form with a call up to the Black Stars for next month's World Cup qualifiers.
