Dreams FC forward, John Antwi, exudes confidence ahead of the highly anticipated semi-final clash against Egyptian giants Zamalek in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Antwi, who boasts extensive experience from his time in Egypt with clubs like Al Ahly, Ismailly, and Pyramids FC, has been instrumental in Dreams FC's impressive run in their debut African campaign, netting six crucial goals.

Acknowledging Zamalek's formidable pedigree with nine CAF titles under their belt, Antwi remains undaunted, expressing his trust in Dreams FC's preparations and collective ability to secure victory.

"Honestly, they are a very good side with rich experience on the continent, winning 9 titles in all CAF competitions.

So it tells you how good they are when it comes to the Confederation Cup. But then we are going to prepare very hard, and I’m confident at the end of the second leg we will be victorious," Antwi affirmed in an interview with CAF Online.

Antwi's assurance is echoed by his belief in the dedication of his teammates and the technical staff, emphasizing their relentless efforts to secure a spot in the final.

"Well, like I said, I know they are a very good side, but I trust my colleagues together with the technical team that we are going to prepare very well just like we have done for all the games and come out victorious," he reiterated.

With Dreams FC poised for their first-leg encounter in Egypt on the weekend of April 18 to 20, Antwi's optimism sets the tone for an exciting showdown as they aim to make history in the prestigious tournament.
