Forgotten Ghana striker John Antwi has been brought out of the cold into the senior national team the Black Stars after years of neglect.

The 28 year old goal poacher has been snubbed by various national team coaches despite his exploits in the Egyptian Premier League.

Various Coaches from the Serbian legions to Avram Grant and Kwesi Appiah during his two stints all snubbed the gifted striker.

But under C.K Akonnor it appears his light may be shinning brightly ass after three years when he was last invited in 2017 for a FIFA World Cup qualifier with Uganda he has never been called up.

Even in that particular game he did not get off the bench as he only watched on as an unused substitute.

The Ghanaian has during all that time broken records in Egypt as he recently scored his 100th goal in the Egyptian league becoming the first foreigner to score a century of goals in the league.

He has more than often been overlooked the past few years but after three years hiatus he has the chance to prove his worth.
