Metz captain, John Boye, believes his side has a tough game against PSG on Saturday, looking at the strength of the latter.

The two teams class in the  Ligue 1 matchday 34 home and the Ghanaian defender hopes for a victory in a crunch duel.

He recalls 1-0 defeat in the first round fixture and experts his men to be of diffent character this time out.

Metz have gone five games without a win in all competitions and will come up against title-chasing PSG tomorrow at the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien.

The Ghana defender says his teammates will need to stay focused and give their best in order to get something out of the game while speaking at a pre-match conference.

“We all know it’s going to be a tough game. PSG are a very good European team. We will have to do our best. Everyone knows what Paris is capable of. We will have to stay focused on the game and give 100%.

“We remember the frustration of the first leg (0-1 defeat in the last seconds of the match). It’s part of football, but I know my team is ready for this new meeting.

“As a captain, I talk to young players a lot. We know that we will be talked about if we have a good performance.

“This is what I insist on with them. For that, we have to give the maximum of ourselves this Saturday.”

The 34-year-old has been instrumental for Metz this season, playing 31 games, helping them place 9th on the Ligue 1 table.
