Ghanaian international John Boye is among five players whose contract with Turkish side Sivasspor expires on the 31st May.

The club are keen on retaining the services of 31 year old defender amid serious interest from newly promoted top flight side Altay Spor Kulübü.

The management of Sivasspor will open contract renewal talks with the former Heart of Lions star as they hope to tie him to the club for at least a few more years.

The Black Stars defender has been a key member of the Sivasspor side after helping them earn promotion to the top flight last season.

Despite being hit by a series of injuries in the course of this campaign, the Ghanaian still managed to prove his importance in the first team set up.

He helped Sivasspor to a seventh-place finish in the season with 49 points, winning 14 games, drawing 7 times and losing 13 matches.
