Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC, has allegedly accused former President John Dramani Mahama of using Samuel Nuamah, the late Ghanaian Times Newspaper Presidential correspondent for ‘sraha’ [sadaqah] in furtherance of his political interest and also to enhance his political chances.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kwaku Dawuro on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra based Kingdom FM, the free speaking and controversial politician fumed that, the Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) failed to attend the final funeral rites of the late Samuel Nuamah due to his evil plans and evil deeds.

He further reiterated that, after Mahama had used the late Ghanaian Times Newspaper presidential correspondent for sraha [sadaqah], he convincingly presented a compensation and support package to the family of the late Samuel Nuamah and also promised to cater for his wife and children yet he failed.

Sraha, literally means sacrifice, is correctly mentioned Sadaka by Muslims. Sadaka is the act of giving alms to beggars, children as well as the old and destitute to seek for Allah’s guidance, protection and blessings. It is often recommended to a Muslim to offer Sadaka where he or she conceives a bad or good dream to avoid or fulfill it as the case may be.

Samuel Nuamah was the Ghanaian Times Presidential Correspondent at the Flagstaff House.

He lost his life in the tragic motor accident involving the presidential press corps on August 20, 2015.
