Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew, who plies his trade with Crystal Palace, has showered praise on his manager, Roy Hodgson, for his instrumental role in bringing out the best in him through his coaching methods.

Ayew's performance has witnessed a remarkable upswing since Hodgson took the reins at the club towards the end of the previous season, following the departure of Patrick Vieira.

Although the 29-year-old Ghanaian has yet to find the back of the net, he has already contributed with two assists in Palace's current campaign, spanning two matches.

In anticipation of Palace's upcoming clash with Wolves at Selhurst Park on Sunday, Ayew expressed his admiration for Hodgson's approach, emphasizing the trust the manager has placed in him and how it has reignited his form.

"The manager knows my qualities and gives me a bit more freedom and more responsibility to perform on the pitch," Ayew conveyed to the club's website.

He continued, "Since he’s come in again, it’s been so positive here. Everything seems to be heading in the right direction, and we are here to support him."

Ayew also shed light on Hodgson's coaching style, highlighting his active and engaged demeanor. Contrary to the perception of him as a quiet figure, Hodgson is described as highly involved in the training process, offering valuable tips and guidance.

His lively presence includes shouting, screaming, and exuding a lot of energy on the field.

With Jordan Ayew's resurgence under Roy Hodgson's tutelage, Crystal Palace fans have reason to be optimistic about the season ahead, as the manager's methods continue to yield positive results for the team.
