Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew will be handed the captain's armband when the Black Stars of Ghana take on Morocco in a friendly match on Tuesday.

In the absence of his brother who is the main captain and the sacking of deputy captain Thomas Partey  and the injury of second deputy Richard Ofori, Jordan Ayew will lead the team.

The trio of Richard Ofori, Thomas Partey and Andre Ayew have not been training with the club since last week.

Andre Ayew who was given an extended break has joined the team but it appears the Morocco game may have come too soon for him.

The Black Stars will play the Atlas Lions of Morocco in Rabat on June 8 before hosting the Elephants of Ivory Coast in Cape Coast on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Below is the Ghana Squad for the trip.
