Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas was apparently rooting for Nigeria before the West African nation’s exit from the World Cup in Russia.
The Super Eagles went into their third game against Argentina with a big chance of making it to the next stage.
However, all Nigerian and African hearts were broken after the team lost 2-1 to the South Americans to exit the tournament.
Lionel Messi’s 14th minute goal was cancelled out by a Victor Moses penalty early in the second half, before Marcos Rojo handed Argentina the win with the two minutes remaining on the clock.
But it appears Nigeria had one of their biggest fans in Ghana, with Joselyn Dumas backing the side before they took to the field.
The award-winning actress took to Instagram to lend her support to the Super Eagles and wished them good luck.
The presenter posted a lovely photo, wearing a colourful green shirt, which she said was a demonstration of her love for the Nigeria team.
Well, Joselyn Dumas may have ended up disappointed as Nigeria failed to qualify out of their group after losing to Argentina.
