Ghanaian midfielder Joseph Amoah has started pre-season training with his Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 season.
The midfielder has recovered in time from a career threatening injury which kept him out of action for the majority of the 2020/2021 season.
He spent more than nine months in the treatment room due to a muscular injury he sustained at the club's training grounds in September 2020.
Amoah was out of action for the entire season but has now stepped up pre-season after undergoing rehabilitation.
The player's career has been blighted by niggling injuries after he also missed the bulk of the 2019/2020 season through a hip injury.
He is contracted to Vitoria Guimaraes until 2023 and is yet to be capped by Ghana.
