Ghanaian striker Joseph Esso was on the score sheet for his Algerian club Mouloudia Club d’alger in their 3-0 triumph over CA Bordj Bou Arreridj (CABBA) in their Algerian Ligue game on Monday evening.

The Algerian side were quick off the blocks as the former Dreams FC striker broke the deadlock of the game in the second minute.

It was Joseph Esso's third goal of the season for his new side in as many games since signing for them at the start of the second round.

MC Algers controlled the match for long spells but could not add to the goals as the game ended with a solitary goal for the home side.

The home side started the second half in blistering fashion with Abdelhak Abdelhafid scoring a brace as they added the second goal of the game just six minutes after the start of the second half of the game.

Moments after the second goal, Abdelhak Abdelhafid made sure of his brace with a fine strike in the 54th minute.

MC Alger are fifth on the league table after 35 matches and are six points adrift Kwame Opoku's USM Algers who are currently leading Paradou.
