Ghanaian forward Joseph Esso was on target for his Algerian side Mouloudia club d’alger (MC Alger) in their Algerian Ligue 1 game against NC Magra on Saturday night.

Despite Esso's goal, it was not enough for his side MC Algers as they were beaten 2-1 away from home in an entertaining encounter.

The home side opened the scores of the game in the 25th minute through Akrem Demane but Esso pulled parity for his side in the 37th minute of the game.

Nothing changed as both teams went into the break tied at 1-1 with nothing separating both sides.

When the second half started the home side pushed for the win but that did not arrive until the hour mark when the home side were awarded a penalty kick which was dispatched by Nadir Korichi to make it 2-1.

The goal was Joseph Esso fourth in 16 appearances since moving to the Algerian side in April from Dreams FC .
