Th supporters wing of Accra Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee (NCC) is hell bent on convincing former player and free agent Joseph Esso to make a return.

NCC and the club's management have been in talks to re-sign their former player to a new contract.

Accra Hearts of Oak announced that they have parted ways with key striker Joseph Esso who has the past three seasons been their most important player.

Disagreement on contract valuation and length led to the club parting ways with the striker whose contract has expired.

Chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) of the club, Elvis Herman Hesse has given a strong hint of a possible return of Joseph Esso.

Supporters of the club have been in arms with the club's management for allowing the striker leave on a free transfer.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based FOX FM, has all but confirmed that the club will resign the forward before the new season starts.

“I have been speaking to Joseph Esso on phone almost every day and cannot discuss everything on the media. Hopefully, Esso will return to Hearts of Oak”, the NCC Chairman said.

The player wanted to sign a one year contract but it is believed he has revised his stance and will now sign a two year deal worth GH5000 a month.
