Gospel diva Joyce Blessing has accused her former management and record label Media Excel Productions of refusing to appreciate veteran musician Jewel Ackah after he featured on a track titled Nyame Eguamaa on her debut album.

Narrating the issue on Anigye Mmre, an entertainment talk show on Accra-based Onua 95.1 FM, Joyce Blessing disclosed how generous Jewel Ackah was by singing a part on the song without asking for any money from her.

“I was expecting my management then, that is Media Excel Production, to at least call the man and give him something, but that never happened,” she said.

Asked by host Christian Agyei Frimpong whether she drew her management’s attention to it, she said: “I informed them but they never did anything about it, so my new management DaveJoy Productions have sorted the man out.”

Joyce Blessing said DaveJoy Productions settled Jewel Ackah in 2017. Nyame Eguamaa was released in 2013. Jewel Ackah is reportedly not well.

He finds it difficult to even walk due to old age and a car accident he had some years ago.
