Ghanaian actress and socialite Rosemond Brown aka Akuapim Poloo has been granted bail by an Accra High Court on Wednesday morning pending an appeal hearing of the substantive case.

She has been granted bail in the sum of GHC80,000 with two sureties with the matter to be heard at a later date.

Akuapim Poloo  was jailed 90 days on Friday 16th April 2021, by an Accra Circuit Court Presided over by Her Honour Ms Christiana Cann

The entertainer pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday 14th April,2021 after she took naked photos with her seven year old son who is a child (minor) and posted them on social media in June last year.

When the trial started in November last year she pleaded not guilty to the three charges leveled against her but decided to change her plea in court to guilty on Wednesday.

She was charged with three counts of publication of obscene material, and two counts of engaging in domestic violence.

Rosemond Brown was sentenced to serve 90 days in jail for posting a nude photos with her son.

Lawyers for the embattled actress filed an appeal with an Accra High Court seeking for bail pending the appeal hearing by the court.
