Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has named his starting line up to face Kenya in today's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Black Stars boss has handed Leicester City's Amartey the captaincy role with the biggest talking point being naming midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah on the bench.

Empoli ace Afriyie Acquah will partner Ebenezer Ofori of MLS side New York City FC in holding midfield.

Christian Atsu will operate from the left wing with Edwin Gyasi given the nod on the right wing.

Majeed Waris will spear head the attack with Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey playing right behind the FC Nantes striker.

The match will kick off at 3pm at the Moi International Sports Complex Kasarani.
