Asante Kotoko midfielder and deputy captain, Mudasiru Salifu has joined Moldovan champions Sherrif Tiraspol this summer.

Contract details of the move is scanty but the midfielder alongside three of his Kotoko teammates went on trials at the club at the end of the season where he impressed.

Mudasiru was born on April 1, 1997 in Kuasi. He spent his entire professional career in his homeland. For the last three years he played for Asante Kotoko FC, with whom he won gold medals in the Ghana Championship last season.

He helped the reds win the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League title where he featured in 26 matches scoring two goals and provided two assists.
