There is demand for Asante Kotoko's prized asset Frank Mbella Etouga as the latest to join the long list of queue for the striker is South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs are keen to compete for top honours next season after failing to challenge the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

The club is restructuring their playing squad and sees Asante Kotoko striker as a lethal weapon to help them next season.

Chiefs have officially written a letter to Asante Kotoko to officially enquire about the service of their deadly striker.

The Cameroonian marksman has been a revelation since joining Asante Kotoko at the start of the 2021/2022 Season scoring 20 goals and propelling the team to the league title.

He has also won seven man of the match awards and helped the reds win the league title for the first time in eight years.

Frank Mbella a former Cameroonian youth star joined the reds in October 2021 from Cameroonian side Fortuna de Mfou.

He was named in the preliminary Cameroonian squad for the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Burundi but was later dropped.

It leaves Asante Kotoko with a huge decision to make whether to cash in on their prized asset or keep him for the CAF Champions League.

He has been linked with moves to European sides such as Saint-Etienne, Galatasaray, SD Eibar and Atletico Madrid among others.
