Ghanaian striker Kelvin Owusu Boateng is set to make a move from Slovak club Spartak Trnava during the ongoing transfer window.

The 23-year-old forward is reportedly on his way to join Austrian second division club First Vienna FC 1894, in search of more playing time and opportunities.

Boateng joined Spartak in the summer of 2021 from FC Porto's reserve team, but faced challenges in establishing himself as a key player for the club due to injury setbacks.

In order to gain regular game time, he was subsequently loaned out to Karvina.

Although Boateng's contract with Spartak was originally set to expire in June 2024, he has made the decision to leave the club in search of more consistent opportunities elsewhere.

Unfortunately, he was unable to secure a place in the team during the preseason, prompting his choice to move on from the Slovak club.

By joining First Vienna FC 1894, Boateng hopes to reignite his career and showcase his abilities on a more regular basis.

The Austrian second division club presents him with a new opportunity to make an impact and progress in his professional football journey.
