The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has named two government institutions that are sabotaging the work of president Akufo-Addo’s government.

According to him, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) are not helping the cause the current administration.

He explained that said the activities of the two bodies is sabotaging the government in a bid to make it unpopular.

Speaking on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, he said that the two institutions charge high and unnecessary bills.

In his opinion, people associated with these companies “sit in their comfortable offices and bill us without even cross checking.”

Describing the activities of these two as a naked robbery, he said Ghanaians are disappointed in the government because of these two institutions.

“This is indeed naked robbery. What annoys me is that after paying the water and light bills, some officials still come and disconnect my light. Ghanaians are indeed disappointed in them” he went on.

Agyapong therefore called on the government to immediately monitor the activities of these two institutions before they bring the NPP government down.
