Kenichi Yatsuhashi is eyeing a return to Accra Hearts of Oak, after parting ways with the club by mutual consent.

The Japanese-American trainer had an eight-month stint with the Phobians and despite coming under severe criticisms from the fans early, he later won their hearts, after churning out some good results.

However, his relationship with the management team of the club deteriorated, after he skipped several technical meetings and was therefore seen as arrogant by the powers there be.

Kenichi Yatsuhashi and Hearts of Oak parted ways by mutual consent after the club kicked against his decision to pursue a training course while the season was ongoing.

And was succeeded by Sergio Traguil, but sacked, after a poor run of form and Yaw Preko completed the season as caretaker coach.

According to a source close to the board chairman of Hearts of Oak Togbe Afede XIV, Kenichi Yatsuhatshi sent a message expressing his desire to get back his job at the club.

“I want to come back and work with you. You are the best chairman I have ever worked with,” a test message sent to the Board chairperson by Kenichi reads.
