The biggest campus based Humanitarian group,Keteke Gh , has embarked on a project to aid the students of Mmaapehia M/A Basic School.

The group, which is based on the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) campus, are known for their active humanitarian service to deprived communities across the country for the past 5 years.

The project, dubbed the AUGUST PROJECT is one of numerous interventions by Keteke gh, to deprived communities with the sole aim of making an impact in the educational sector.

According to them, their attention was drawn to the dilapidated condition of the school after a report by Metro Tv's Gabriel Obodai Togbor Ashong.

Mmaapehia school is the only school in the Mmapehia community in the Ga south municipality which also serves neighboring communities.

The leadership and members of Keteke Gh donated over 400 exercise books , story books, pencils, reading materials and other educational materials to the school.

They also spent the day teaching,motivating and interacting with the pupils of the school to the delight of all stakeholders- students, staff and PTA.

This is the second mini project of the club which has already embarked on 5 major humanitarian activities in four regions of the country.

Keteke Gh assured the school of continues support and future partnerships.
