King Faisal defeated Ebusua Dwarfs in the relegation six pointer game against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday Morning at the Ohene Ameyaw Akumfi Park in week 33 of the Ghana Premier League.

The game which should have been played on Saturday afternoon was rescheduled due to torrential rainfall in Techiman.

Zubairu Ibrahim's brace was enough to give King Faisal all three points in their bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The game started with each team neutralizing each other as the two teams sized each other in what was a slow start.

Both side were unable to score a goal although home side King Faisal posed some problems to Ebusua Dwarfs but were unable to break the deadlock.

The first half ended in a goalless draw as neither side was able to break the deadlock in a tightly contested game.

Ebusua Dwarfs sat back very deep in their own half and played King Faisal on the break for the bulk of the second half but it did not take long before sharp shooter Zubairu Ibrahim broke the deadlock of the game in the 52nd minute.

King Faisal's saviour of the second round Zubairu Ibrahim added the second goal to make sure of the results on the hour mark with a well taken goal.

Ebusua Dwarfs quickly got out of their shelves to try and get something from the game but to no avail as coach Kuuku Dadzie suffered his first defeat since taking charge of the team.

The win has given King Faisal's survival hopes a lot of boost as they now lie 12th on the league log with 40 points.
