Accra Great Olympics are specialist when it comes to filing protest and are famed as the protest kings in the Ghana Premier League.

Their city neighbours Accra Hearts of Oak have filed a protest against Great Olympics after their 1-1 drawn game at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

The phobians have reportedly lodged a protest against their player Joshua Kwame Rhule who wore jersey number 39 in the Ga Mantse derby.

According to the details of the protest available to us, the said player played for Beninese side FC Dragon in 2019 but used a different name while in Benin.

The Olympics player was said to be using the name Koomson Biney but when he registered with Great Olympics he used the name Joshau Kwame Rhule.

Accra Hearts of Oak are asking the Ghana Football Association to give them all the maximum points as Olympics used an unqualified player.

And the wonder club are not lying low as they have hit back with a protest of their own against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Great Olympics claim that Accra Hearts of Oak failed to follow due process when they registered midfielder Emmanuel Nettey who joined the phobians as a free agent after leaving Inter Allies.

According to the details of the protest, Accra Great Olympics claim the Hearts midfielder has three different birth certificates he has used in his registration.

Emmanuel Nettey joined Accra Hearts of Oak in January 2020 as a free agent and has been an integral figure for the team ever since.

It remains to be seen the outcome of the two protest filed by the city neighbours as the Ghana Premier League is at the home stretch close to the finish line.
