Ghanaian defender Kingsley Gyamfi has been loaned to Finnish top-flight club Ekenäs IF (EIF) for the remainder of the 2024 season.

The 20-year-old center-back, who joined Hammarby IF in 2022, will be with EIF to gain more first-team experience.

Gyamfi, who signed a five-year contract with Hammarby in January 2024 and was promoted to the A team, has made four appearances for the Swedish side in the Allsvenskan this season.

His loan move to EIF is aimed at further developing his skills and gaining more regular playing time.

EIF, newly promoted to the Finnish top flight, will benefit from Gyamfi’s defensive capabilities as he trains with his new teammates and competes in the remainder of the season.
