Ghanaian forward Kingsley Schindler who has been a standout performer, has finished the season with 12 goals for German Bundesliga II side Holstein Kiel.

Schindler was born in Germany and possesses both German and Ghanaian citizenship with Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah understood to be aware of the player and considering calling him into the Black Stars' squad.

The speedster has emerged quickly on the blocks this season, churning out impressive displays for the German second-tier side.

Able to play across the right side of the pitch, the pacy and versatile Schindler qualifies to represent four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions through his Ghanaian parents.

His ability to operate as a wing-back, right midfielder or further forward where he has played for much of the campaign makes the Hamburg-born player an attractive option to Appiah.
