The Chief Executive Director of Accra Digital Center, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has challenged the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to enumerate infrastructural development they embark on during their tenure.

According to the Mr. Nkansah popularly known as ‘Footsoldier President’, under the regime of the NDC, their administration failed to put up significant infrastructure but keep criticizing the ruling government.

Expressing his displeasure about the behavior of opposition party, he recounted many infrastructural projects that Akufo-Addo’s government has embarked on across the country.

He noted that under 3 years, the Akufo-Addo's government is constructing local level infrastructure through the $1m, 1 Constituency fund; small dams, warehouses, classroom blocks, water and sanitation facilities, sports complexes across the regions.

He added that rail infrastructure is being done and over 800 SHS intervention projects plus other educational infrastructure in TVET and STEM areas.

Mr. Nkansah added that “the hospital projects the NDC abandoned since 2009 are being done. Works on Accra, Takoradi, Tamale interchanges are ongoing… Ministry of Communications has done a lot of rural telephony infrastructure.”

“We have paid the infrastructure Contractors you did not pay under Getfund. The road contractors are currently being paid….At the end of the President Akufo-Addo’s 2nd term, the infrastructure deficit will be closed.”

“I'm challenging the NDC to list Infrastructure projects they did in the first 2-3 years of their last 8 year term.”

“We have exited the IMF Programme, and are well on our way to creating the kind of future that Ghanaians have always yearned for. New oil and gas discoveries give us another opportunity, under an NPP government, to grow the economy in leaps and bounds, create jobs, and for Ghanaians to lead the way into a prosperous Africa.”
