Ghanaian center-back, Konadu Yiadom, is set to make his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League this weekend as he prepares to feature for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in their upcoming match against NK Veres-Rivne on Saturday.

Yiadom, a former WAFA captain, is on the brink of stepping onto the top-flight stage for the first time after securing a spot in the matchday squad.

His journey to this pivotal moment began when he joined Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in September 2023 on a season-long loan from Ghana Premier League club, Hearts of Oak.

Despite facing initial challenges with travel documentation, the highly-rated defender arrived in Ukraine last week, ready to embark on his European football adventure.

Yiadom swiftly integrated into the team, actively participating in training sessions throughout the week, and is now primed for his dream debut in European football.

During his time with Hearts of Oak last season, Yiadom showcased his talent in 20 appearances, scoring two goals along the way.

Kryvbas is currently enjoying a successful campaign, sitting in the second spot in the league standings with 43 points from 21 matches, with aspirations of securing European football for the next season.
