The Kotoko travelling party departed Ghana on Sunday morning for Ethiopia en-route Sudan and have now safely arrived in Ethiopia.

Kotoko traveled with a 22 man squad for the CAF Champions League second leg play-off game in Sudan.

They are on a transit in Ethiopia where they will board a connecting flight to Sudan to face Al Hilal of Omdurman on Wednesday 6th January,2021.

Kotoko face a daunting task on what many have termed mission impossible as they lost the first leg at home by a lone goal to nil in Accra.

The porcupine warriors will require a win after losing the first leg with a 1 nil win or a 2-1 win enough to see them progress into the group stages.

Kotoko will depart the horn of Africa on Monday for Sudan where they will prepare for Al Hilal in a game which looks grim for the porcupine warriors.
