New Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto may have to wait a little longer before making his debut for the Kumasi based club due to delays in processing his work permit documentation.

The club were unable to complete paper works for the Portuguese trainer and his two assistants and will have to watch the Ghana Premier League match day 18 game against Techiman Eleven Wonders from the stands.

This means assistant coaches Abdulai Gazale and Johnson Smith will have to take charge of Saturday's game in Techiman.

Barreto and his two assistant coaches have been training with the Kotoko squad the whole week preparing for the crunch game.

The former Ghana coach who signed an eighteen month contract with Kotoko will have to wait for his debut.
