Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Ogum, expressed frustration over his side's inability to capitalize on scoring opportunities following their 1-0 loss to Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Bechem United secured the win thanks to an early strike by Kofi Tompuo, which ended their three-match winless streak.

However, Ogum believes the result could have been different had his players taken better advantage of their chances.

"We just have to be purposeful in front of goal. If we had been purposeful, this unfortunate defeat would not have happened.

You can’t get some of these chances and miss them," Ogum said. "We need to convert these chances. Not that they are quarter chances or half chances. These are full chances that need to be converted."

The Porcupine Warriors, who are currently sixth on the league table with 15 points from 10 games, will aim to bounce back in their upcoming matchday 11 fixture against Nations FC.

Kotoko remains focused on regaining momentum and returning to winning ways.
