Kumasi Asante Kotoko have departed Kumasi this morning enroute to the Eastern Regional capital of Koforidua to begin pre-season camping.

The  bus containing players and technical team members left Kumasi in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Kotoko will be residing at the Royal Plaza Hotel in Koforidua while training at the All Nations University Park at Akwadum.

The team has been training at their Adako Jachie training camp since restriction on football was eased by the President in his 17th COVID-19 address to the nation.

They are expected to take their training session a notch higher as the league resumes next month with their opening game against Techiman Eleven Wonders.

Kotoko is expected to play some friendly games in Koforidua before they end their camping in the Eastern Regional capital.
