Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have published the total amount of monies they realized from matches in the Ghana Premier League and also the MTN FA Cup among others.

The team realized the amount of monies they realized from gate proceeds of home matches and their famed virtual seat challenge which they used to raise funds from supporters who could not be present at the stadium through mobile money.

In the 20 matches the team published, they had a gross total of  GHC 2,600,010 whiles their net from the entire gross amounted to 1,105,114 nearly half of the gross.

Unsurprisingly Kotoko raised the highest amount of money from their home match against Accra Hearts of Oak which grossed GHC591,930 with the net being GHC262,166.

The virtual seat challenge also fetched the club an amount of GHC289,010 that is monies that was paid by various supporters groups who could not go to the stadium in person but supported the club.
