Former captain of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Joseph Hendricks reckons there is much more at stake than just three points in Sunday's Super Clash encounter between the nation’s two most glamorous sides.

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will lock horns in week 10 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 3pm.

The Porcupine Warriors will go into the game on the back their victory against Wa All Stars last weekend while their bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak will be heading into the clash with a three-match winless streak.

"Kotoko and Hearts games are not normal. But the good thing is that, fans are thrilled with some good football. Players on both sides are poised for the encounter because it's the biggest game on the local scene and players can sell their potential as well," Hendricks told GNA Sports.

He added, "concentration is certainly high within both camps and people normally say form guide doesn't count, but you need players with good form to play such matches coupled with spiritual fortitude ahead of the clash.

Kotoko is currently occupy fourth spot on the league log with 14 points, whilst Hearts is languishing in 11th spot with 11 points and this encounter looks some fascinating thrills come this Sunday.
