Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player and coach, Malik Jabir has applauded the current coach of the team Prosper Nartey Ogum for his humility.

He says that the former University of Cape Coast lecturer is a smart guy as he did the unthinkable before taking over the job.

According to Jabir, Prosper Nartey Ogum before taking over the Kotoko job came to his house and sought blessings and support.

The 1970 African Cup winner with Asante Kotoko says that he was shocked who showed the Kotoko coach his house and also that has never been done by any Kotoko coach before.

"All the Kotoko legends are rallying behind the team now because the coach is a smart guy. Before he took the job, he drove all the way to my house. I didn't know who showed him there. He came to ask for blessing & support. He's the first coach to do that"

The former WAFA coach has masterminded Kotoko climb to the summit of the league with a ten point gap on second place Bechem United.
