Kumasi Asante Kotoko have resumed full scale training today for the first time in about six months when football was brought to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus pandemic forced the Ghana Football Association to truncate the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

But in the President's 17th address to the nation, restrictions on football were lifted paving the way for clubs to start preparations.

The club underwent the COVID-19 testing after which they have resumed full scale training.

Kotoko confirmed they are resuming training via a message on their twitter handle at the Adako Jachie training base.

The porcupine warriors will represent Ghana at the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League tournament.
