The Ashanti Regional Chairman of Asante Kotoko Circles, Obeng Sekyere has told the board of directors of the club that the supporters are not happy with the way and manner the club is heading.

He says that the support base of the club were very expectant when the life patron of the club, Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II appointed this new crop of board of directors but have been left disappointed.

Kotoko have struggled to perform in the Ghana Premier League leading to the sacking of their coach Maxwell Konadu and have now been eliminated from the CAF Champions League.

“We got faith in the current board members when they were appointed by His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II because of their pedigree and wisdom but things are not going as we excepted. We disagree with some decisions made by the team” Obeng Sekyere told Kumasi based OTEC FM

“We the supporters are not happy about how the team is been run of late. We appeal to the board to stand on their feet and put things to order” He added

“Before last year’s Africa campaign, our problem was how to score goals, management couldn’t solve that problem before the start of this year’s Africa inter-club competition. With all these, we are not happy as supporters and we need the board to act fast” he disclosed.
